Debran Barrella: TEAM Arizona Rider of the Month February 2014!

One thing we really enjoy at TEAM Arizona are motorcyclists who smile a lot and give HUGE hugs. That being said, Debran has mastered those two activities and fits right in. For those reasons, and a whole bunch more you’re about to find out, she is our TEAM Arizona Rider of the Month for February 2014.
Debran first made her intentions known to us in September of 2011 when she attended a Basic RiderCourse. Little did we know she’d make her way onto a Caribbean Blue Kawasaki Vulcan 900 in a very short period of time. And into a very select group known as the Phoenix Vulcan Riders Chapter.
During her few years of riding, Debran has actively integrated herself into the motorcycling community. She attends rides, various motorcycle events, additional rider training, rallies across state lines, and reaches out to women in the motorcycling community. She is currently Secretary of the Phoenix Vulcan Riders. Without a doubt, Debran has grabbed the sport of motorcycle riding by the scruff of its neck and tamed it in her own way.
When you ask her about her experience, she exclaims, “I wish I would have started sooner! I didn’t know I would have this much fun!” As she rides, she focuses on being in the moment and enjoying ride while being ever aware of motorists around her. She is psyched to take her next adventure up Hwy 666; that’s the designation number of what we currently know to be Hwy 191 or the Coronado Trail.
So when you see Debran out and about on her shiny, eye popping ride, just make sure to greet her with two things: a big smile and a warm hug!
