CURT CRENSHAW is TEAM Arizona’s RiderCoach of the Month for June 2012!

What rhymes with Curt? DIRT! Yep, since 1974 at his grandparent’s cabin in Dewey, Curt has been ripping it up on dirt bikes. He brought his passion to TEAM Arizona eleven years ago as a dirt bike instructor.
Around TEAM Arizona, Curt is synonymous with dirt riding. In fact, when RiderCoaches need training in the dirt, he’s the go-to guy! He’s added more to his coaching repertoire, and since June 2011, he’s provided coaching for our street courses too.
Even though he’s been riding for 30+ years, he enjoys coaching for one major reason: THE STUDENTS! He considers it a privilege to help bring motorcycling into other people’s lives. “I remember how excited I was to learn to ride and how frustrating the process was for me while using the trial-and-error method. When presented the opportunity to help others begin their adventure in a more structured manner, it seemed only natural for me to do this. “
Here are some fun facts about Curt:
- He loves exploring twisty California roads, especially with his his son.
- His favorite day ride is up the 191 to Alpine.
- Currently rides a Honda CRF450X (legal for dual-sport riding and Supermoto riding) and a Kawasaki Z1000
