RiderCoach of the Month Emily Life

Ms. Emily Life, this month’s RiderCoach of the Month, may be our youngest RiderCoach to win the award yet, but she is certainly long on experience.  Emily is a second generation RiderCoach; her father, Chris, pounds the pavement in Tucson for TEAM Arizona.  She started on dirt bikes at the age of four, began street riding at 15 years and 7 months, has racetrack experience, and has been kicking cones on the training range for more than a decade.  Tough to beat that resume.  This past month, she really stepped up to help out in the summer heat, leading us to making her the obvious choice as RiderCoach of the Month!

As she continues to build skill and knowledge, she still finds maximum performance braking a challenge and works on it continuously.  If she could have riders take away one major riding , it would be the SEE strategy -search, evaluate, execute.

Emily really enjoys riding because there is less distraction on a motorcycle and she has the ability to see more on a bike versus a car because she’s not enclosed by a cage.  She loves riding so much that she hopes to rent a motorcycle and ride around Europe when she graduates from college.  We’re behind her 100% with that plan.

Here are some additional interesting facts about Emily:

  • Born in Marietta, Ohio
  • Rides a Honda XR650L
  • Wants to ride a unicorn someday

Please, take time to wish Emily well-deserved CONGRATULATIONS!  We here at TEAM Arizona are proud to have her as part of the family!
