JULIE STILL: TEAM Arizona Rider of the Month JULY 2013!

More and more women are entering the sport of motorcycling. They’re enriching an already fulfilling experience. This month’s Rider of the Month is one of those key women who are taking motorcycling to the next level for the whole riding community. We’re excited to bestow the ROTM honor upon Phoenix Bike Nights founder and motorcyclist, JULIE STILL.
Most folks know her as “Jules”. Her trusty 2009 Kawasaki ZX-6 has a nickname too: Serenity. With a flashy bike like that, Jules is tough to miss. When asked what drew her to motorcycling, she exclaimed, “Just about everything! The freedom, getting away from it all, the adventure, seeing new places, meeting new people, the thrill and challenge of the twisties, being one with your bike.” That’s a pretty familiar list to any motorcyclist.
Jules is not one to sit on her hands. She’s been busy creating a one-click stop for Phoenix motorcyclists to find out about the latest and greatest happenings within the motorcycling community. She calls Phoenix Bike Nights the Valley’s premier resource for Bike Nights and Events; TEAM Arizona is excited to assist Julie with this venture. In her four years of riding, she’s acquired a keen perspective on riding. “Wear your gear! Ride with a 6th sense, always look and be aware of what others are doing. Don’t ride like a Squid. Ride at your own skill level. Do NOT try to keep up with more experienced riders. Don’t start out on a big bike.” Reads like a riding bulletin from TEAM Arizona; obviously, we couldn’t agree more!
She wished she would have known a few more helpful things when she started riding like, “That I should start a motorcycle savings account so I could buy all the accessories gear, mods, cameras, tools and stuff I want.” Yep, motorcycling can require some funding!
