MIKE MARTIN: TEAM Arizona Rider of the Month December 2013!

What do you want to be doing at the age of 72? Riding of course! Well, “just riding” wasn’t good enough for Mike Martin. He decided to take TEAM Arizona’s Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic to see if he could get more comfortable and confident on his 1600cc BMW. The result? Success! And a huge smile on his face. And our award for December 2013 Rider of the Month!
Mike has been riding for nearly 16 years. Odds are he may have started earlier but was under the impression that riding a motorcycle meant riding a particular brand. When he discovered that there were just as many types of bikes as there are individuals, he found something he liked and stuck with riding ever since.
A favorite ride? If he had to name just one, it would be the loop through Wickenburg, Prescott, Camp Verde, Payson, and a safe return to Scottsdale.
His advice to riders? Take a TEAM Arizona course as soon as possible. We couldn’t agree more! 🙂
Where will you find Mike next? Hopefully on another lengthy trip up the California coast.
