Terry Brown RCOTM 2013

What do you get when you connect a grizzled veteran of the construction industry with a huge passion for motorcycling and an opportunity to share that passion?  Pure magic.  This month we celebrate Terry Brown’s contribution to the Arizona motorcycling community by honoring him as TEAM Arizona’s RiderCoach of the Month for August 2013.

Terry is a native Arizonan born in Phoenix and started his riding career at the age of twelve (12).  His love for all things mechanical drew him to motorcycling.  When he came to TEAM Arizona three years ago his motivation was to share the knowledge he’s gained from years of two-wheeled fun.

Terry’s biggest challenge as a RiderCoach is working in the heat, but he finds the reward of seeing the light bulb come on for a student more than adequate.  Ask him the key to safe riding and he’ll respond unequivocally, “Training.”  We’re sold, Terry!

Here are some additional interesting facts about Terry:

  • His favorite day ride is Phoenix to Prescott via 89
  • Owns and rides a BMW K1200GT, a Harley Davidson SuperGlide, and a HD RoadKing
  • He’s unimpressed with riders who only drag knees; he challenges you to take a look at his picture to guess which body parts he drags (to a fine polish!)

Please, take time to wish Terry well-deserved CONGRATULATIONS!  We here at TEAM Arizona are proud to have her as part of the family!
